Das Teil war ursprünglich französich, sowohl die deutsche als auch die englische Textvariante sind sehr textnah am französichen, allerdings wurden im Englischen noch 2 Strophen angehängt.

Sö läuft es eben manchmal - es ist nicht einfach textgenau und gleichzeitig gut klingend zu übersetzen - und reimen soll es sich ja auch noch!
